Add the rental calendar to your products

Place the rental booking calendar on your Shopify product pages so customers can pick their dates.

  1. In Shopify Admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
  2. Open App embeds and switch on Rental cart protection. This stops customers editing rental quantities or removing fee items in the cart.
  3. Open your product template and add the Rental Widget app block where the calendar should appear.
  4. Save, then open a rental product on your storefront to check the calendar shows.

The widget only appears on products you've imported into Rental Products. On other products it hides itself, so it's safe to add the block to a shared product template.
