# Add the rental calendar to your products

Place the rental booking calendar on your Shopify product pages so customers can pick their dates.

1. In Shopify Admin, go to **Online Store → Themes → Customize**.
2. Open **App embeds** and switch on **Rental cart protection**. This stops customers editing rental quantities or removing fee items in the cart.
3. Open your product template and add the **Rental Widget** app block where the calendar should appear.
4. Save, then open a rental product on your storefront to check the calendar shows.

The widget only appears on products you've imported into **Rental Products**. On other products it hides itself, so it's safe to add the block to a shared product template.
